Our Story
Afghan Women Support Association (AWSA) was born out of a deep-rooted desire to uplift and empower Afghan women and girls in Sydney, Australia. Our journey began with a small group of passionate individuals who recognized the need for a dedicated organization to address the unique challenges faced by Afghan women in our community. With unwavering determination and a shared vision of creating positive change, we came together to establish AWSA as a beacon of hope and support for Afghan women and girls.
Our Mission
At Afghan Women Support Association, our mission is to empower Afghan women and girls to realize their full potential and become leaders in their communities. We are committed to providing comprehensive support and services across various domains, including Women’s Leadership, Education Affairs, Health Services, Community Engagement, Cultural activities, Youth & Sports, and Charity. Through our programs and initiatives, we strive to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where Afghan women feel empowered, valued, and equipped with the tools they need to succeed.

As the founder of Afghan Women Support Association, I am deeply passionate about creating opportunities for Afghan women and girls to thrive and excel. Having witnessed firsthand the challenges and barriers that many Afghan women face, I felt compelled to take action and establish AWSA as a platform for empowerment and positive change. Our organization is built on the principles of empowerment, equality, and community, and we are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of Afghan women and girls.
